About Olivier Berton

A French national by birth, Olivier Berton has spent the last 15+ years in media sales in Europe and the US, but mostly in New York City. Olivier has acquired a strong expertise in international media during his time with France's Hachette Filipacchi (now Lagardere), Switzerland's Publicitas, Germany's Hubert Burda Media, U.S.'s Hearst Magazines and The Hollywood Reporter, while focusing on high fashion, fine jewelry and leather goods verticals. Olivier embraced the digital revolution in the early 2000's when Amazon was just a small online book seller.


Having worked with some of the world's most prestigious premium content brands over the years (e.g. Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Le Monde, The Guardian, Nikkei, etc.), Olivier has also developed a great appreciation for fine journalism and quality content.


Since joining Amazon Media Group in New York City a year ago, Olivier has been busy leveraging his understanding of the luxury space by trying to build bridges and finding common space between century-old premium brands and a fast-paced US tech company like Amazon that is changing the way we live.
